Brief: Design, build and install a hair and beauty salon for Somerset County Council using top quality materials and finishes yet providing an enduring and student proof environment.
Each area uses different genuine polished veneer finishes with brushed aluminium inlays and toughened glass shelving.
The project was completed within the timescale and on budget.
Design: Sarah Smith and Style Zone
Maple Veneered desk with aluminium inlays and plinth. Toughened glass worktop on raised pillars. Built to accept two computer systems. Hanging lit pelmet above the desk area supported by stainless wire hangers.
Curtained beauty cubicles with electric beauty beds. Walnut product and towel storage unit to each bay.
Cheery refectory counter with brushed aluminium inlays and plinth. Built to accept computer system. Glass storage. Built in fridge and glasswasher. Hand washing facility.
Walnut double styling stations with built in storage for "sally" heads side product storage with built in tong and drier holder stainless steel footrest.
